Welcome to the report back page for the On The Fronlines Counter-Recruitment Conference that was held October 22-23, 2005 at the University of California in Berkeley!

The conference was an amazing success bringing together hundreds of high school and college students, parents and educators, community activists, veterans and military family members. Co-sponsored by the Campus Antiwar Network and Military Out of Our Schools-Bay Area, the crowd in attendance was very diverse and represented many perspectives from various communities and places around the country, often missing at similar conferences. The schedule had just the right mix of speakers, artists, poetry and music, video screenings, and food that kept all in attendence far from bored, and the experienced presenters brought in to facilitate presentations had people in deep contemplation over which workshops to attend.
