Reservists
Reservists are either enlisted in the Delayed Training Program (DTP) or enlisted directly into reserve status before basic training. Reservists who have not yet reported for basic training should apply for discharge like their Delayed Entry Program counterparts. Occasionally, reservists may attend local drills before reporting for basic training. Advise recruits not to attend any further drills or training (and certainly not basic training) while applying for discharge.
